Veteran Friendly Practice
Accredited Veteran Friendly Practice
Proud to be an Accredited Veteran Friendly GP Practice
We’re proud to be a Veteran Friendly Accredited GP practice and to support our veteran community.
As a Veteran Friendly Accredited practice, our team:
- Recognises the importance of identifying veteran patients within our community
- Understands the unique health needs that veterans may have
- Strives to provide veterans with the very best care and support
- Knows about the specialist veteran healthcare services that exist
- Undertakes regular training and development to ensure we’re able to deliver the very best care to veterans in our community and meet the health commitments of the Armed Forces Covenant
If you’re a veteran patient, please do let us know that you have served so that we can make sure you receive the most appropriate and best care, if and when you ever need it.

Remembrance Day
Our Practice Will Pause for Two-Minute Silence – 11th November 2025
Each year on 11th November, we pause to reflect and honour the brave individuals who gave their lives in service to our country. Remembrance Day marks the end of World War I in 1918 and serves as a time to remember all members of the armed forces who have died in the line of duty.
At Whaddon Healthcare, we join the nation in observing the two-minute silence at 11am.
We encourage our patients and community to take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made for peace and freedom.
