RSV Vac

At Whaddon, we are vaccinating

NHS England has released guidance on a national vaccination programme to protect both infants and older adults from Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). From the 1st September, the programme will include a vaccine for the following cohorts:

  • Pregnant women over 28 weeks to help protect their newborn babies,
  • Adults turning 75 years old on or after 1 September 2024, who remain eligible until their 80th birthday,
  • Adults already 75 to 79 years on 1st September 2024 as a catch-up cohort.

ACCURX...

We want to improve access to patients and provide one avenue of communication. We aim to streamline our processes, to ensure the best possible care and attention is given to our patients.

Accurx is a communication tool that is designed to link your contact with the surgery, directly to your records. It is an online service that allows you to communicate with the surgery easily, instead of waiting in a call queue.

Once the system is fully intergrated, patients will be able to request appointments, request medication, make a general enquiry, reply to messages and complete medical questionnaires.

For more information, please visit our Accurx page.
