COVID Restriction Update

Dear Whaddon Patients,

First and foremost a very big Thank you for your support and understanding through the last 18 months.

Throughout the pandemic, we have ensured to make Whaddon Healthcare as safe as possible for all our patients and staff. On this very pursuit, we have incessantly vaccinated over 20,000 of our Whaddon patients against Coronavirus.

Whaddon Healthcare has come this far ahead not without our staff and patients’ cooperation & support. And we intend to maintain this high level of safety both for our patients and staff in the months ahead.

Therefore, from the 19th of July 2021, when the legal restrictions on mask wearing and social distancing relax, we will continue to wear masks and follow social distancing at both our surgeries. Nothing will change at both our surgeries in this aspect.

And we very strongly urge all our patients to continue wearing a face covering while entering the surgery, socially distance and use hand sanitiser as this is an indoor space with potentially unwell & vulnerable patients and staff with underlying health conditions.

By continuing to wear masks and follow social distancing, you are not only protecting your fellow patients and our dedicated health care professionals but also aiding them to provide you with uninterrupted GP based services.

We do understand that restrictions can feel frustrating but we know that when people come to us they are sick and vulnerable (and some cannot receive the COVID vaccinations due to medical reasons) .So we feel it would be highly risky not to take these small & simple precautions that can protect us all.

Thank you once again.

Yours sincerely,

GP Partners
